Scam Savvy Parenting Presentation

The James Bay OPP will be hosting Scam Savvy Parenting informative session designed to help parents recognize and prevent online fraud targeting youth.
The event will take place on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. at the Cochrane Public Library at 178 Fourth Avenue.
With cyber scams becoming increasingly sophisticated, this session will provide valuable insights into common online threats, including gaming scams, fake influencer giveaways, and sextortion schemes.
Parents will learn practical strategies to protect their children and foster open conversations about digital safety
