A 38-year-old Cochrane man is up on three charges, including one for possession of an illicit drug for trafficking, after his home was searched by the OPP yesterday.
The search happened at about 9:30am Thursday at the home on Thirteenth Avenue. Officers seized what they believe is crystal meth, with an estimated street value of 65-thousand dollars. They also seized a cellphone, a scale and a small amount of cash.
The man is charged with the trafficking offence; possession of under five-thousand dollars worth of property obtained by crime; and three counts of failing to comply with a release order.
He was held in jail overnight, pending a Friday bail hearing.
