About $40,000 in illicit drugs are off the streets in Hearst following a bust by Ontario Provincial Police Tuesday morning.
Several search warrants were executed at homes and vehicles on Fifteenth Street and Rose Street and Police seized drugs suspected to be crystal methamphetamine, methamphetamine tablets, and cocaine with an estimated street value of $40,000.
Police also took a gun, scales and around $500 in cash.
Three Hearst residents, including one couple, are each facing three drug possession charges and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. The couple is also charged with careless storage of a firearm.
