Yesterday MooseFM reported a general outdoor fire ban for Northeastern Ontario. The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry informed us late yesterday morning that our announcement was in error. The ban does not apply to communities north of Timmins. Therefore there is no fire ban in Cochrane or Iroquois Falls.
