Moonbeam’s Remi Ski Club has hit the half-century mark. During the last week of March the ski hill marked its 50th anniversary with a celebration, including the unveiling of a new banner. Manager of the Ski Club Norm Nadeau says this year marked 50 years of operation by the hill, first opened in 1968. Nadeau said the day had a great response from the local community who showed up to enjoy it outdoors. He also said the celebration went terrific, and was overall a success.
