A snowplow operator from Cochrane won’t be plowing any snow for the rest of the season. His driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days.
OPP say at about 3:00am last Tuesday, they responded to a report of a plow stuck in the westbound ditch on Hwy.y 562, about ten kilometres outside of Cochrane. It was pointed eastbound.
The 50-year-old operator has been charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and having more than .08% alcohol in his blood.
The plow was impounded for seven days.
