Two Montreal people are facing charges connected to three grandparent scams in Iroquois Falls.
Ontario Provincial Police say they were called last Wednesday about two phone calls asking for money for a grandson who had been in a car accident.
The next day, they were called about a phone request for a grandson who had been arrested.
The suspects are charged with fraud over $5,000.00 and possession of property obtained by crime worth over $5,000.00. They were released and given a March court date.
