The New Democrats have their candidate for the riding of Kapuskasing-Timmins-Mushkegowuk for whenever a federal election is called.
Former Moonbeam mayor Nicole Fortier-Levesque was chosen during the nomination meeting in Timmins on Saturday. Riding association president Julie Nobert-DeMarchi says Fortier Levesque demonstrated passion and commitment throughout the entire process and is confident in her ability to represent the region.
Fortier-Levesque was grateful the support and looking forward to the road ahead.
